Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of Horn Events (the “Platform”), operated by Horn Events, By accessing or using Horn Events you represent that you have the full authority to act to bind yourself, any third party, company, or legal entity, and that your use and/or interaction, as well as continuing to use or interact, with the website constitutes your having read and agreed to these terms of use as well as other agreements that we may post on the platform.
1. The service and our role
The Platform provides event discovery, ticketing, messaging and payment-collection services. For events sold on the Horn platform, Horn Events acts as the disclosed agent of the organizer and is the merchant of record. The organizer supplies the event and is responsible for admission, safety, legality, content and performance. On a white-label tenant, the white-label operator is the merchant of record and your contract for those purchases is with that operator.
2. Accounts and verification
Registration uses an email address and/or a WhatsApp/phone number with a one-time passcode (OTP). One account represents you across the Platform and any agency marketplace on it. You are responsible for activity on your account and for providing accurate information. Keep your credentials and ticket codes secure.
3. Prices, fees and records
Prices, taxes and any lawful service fee are shown before payment. A platform service fee (currently a percentage of the ticket price, set by organizer) is added to the order and paid by the buyer. Electronic records, confirmations and the accepted legal-version logs form part of the contract.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Platform, bypass controls, scrape data, commit fraud or infringe rights. We may suspend accounts, unpublish events and preserve evidence. Prohibited event categories are set out in the Prohibited Events Policy.
5. Tickets
Tickets are issued as QR credentials delivered by email and/or WhatsApp. Tickets and orders are append-only records; a transfer or reissue creates a new ticket and supersedes the old one. Ticket transfer is governed by the Ticket Buyer Terms and is off by default unless enabled for an event.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Refund eligibility is set per event and handled under the Refund Policy and Event Cancellation Policy. Refunds are discretionary and processed manually by the organizer; the Platform does not guarantee or automatically execute refunds.
7. Liability, law and disputes
Mandatory consumer rights and local law apply. Disputes should first be raised with support; unresolved matters may go to the competent local authority or court in the applicable market.
